Everybody wants to become popular. Having friends, dates, and people that admire and love you is probably the deepest human desire. Some people seem to be "born popular," with certain inborn traits that make people love them and want to be around them.

For everybody else, popularity can come a little harder. You may secretly wish to ask that guy or gal out, or wish you were as funny as the dude that sits next to you in class. For adults, you may wish you were the admired man or woman at work, or you may wonder why you are smart and nice, yet can't seem to find a date, and you are approaching your late twenties or thirties.

Before I go on, I should note that popularity has gotten a bad reputation. Some people swear off popularity, and are fond of saying "I don't care if I popular!" Maybe you are one of these people, because you have been bullied by "popular" people. Sometimes the most popular people we encounter, whether at work, home, or at school, are also bullies, total jerks, or even "mean girls." Most of these individuals aren't really "popular," but feared and hated. We do not consider these jerks or bullies to define "popularity," and we are not interested in helping you become popular like this.

We have discovered the secrets of popularity. Some people are born with certain skills that make them popular. But...these skills can be learned! Popular people think a certain way. They act a certain way. And...they avoid doing certain things. You can learn these skills, thoughts, and actions!

Are you a little creepy? We can fix that! Are you shy around new people? You can overcome that. Are you out-of-shape? That is easy to deal with. Are you boring and talk too much? Guess what? That can be fixed too! You see, becoming popular is just like learning anything else: it can be done!
